It is very important to drink enough water, especially during the holidays. Many of us tend to overeat during this time of year because there is food everywhere! Try to keep a water bottle with you at all times. When it is empty, fill it up. If you will drink water, you will find it easier to avoid eating when you are really not hungry. And, often when we think we are hungry, we are actually just thirsty. When I see pretzels, I can’t pass them by. I have to eat them. Because they are salty, I really need water. What is the one food that you can’t pass by and leave alone?
The food that I have a hard time with is chocolate. I love good chocolate! To help me not eat too much of it, because it is not good for me, I usually don’t keep any in the house. If it is not around me, I am not tempted to it.
I agree that water is the most important thing that our body needs. I have a big jug I drink out of and I try to always keep it full so I do not go for sodas.
